Dear Lord,
thank you for this new day. As your word urges us to, I lift up President Obama and all those in leadership positions in this country before your throne of grace. Father, this morning I confess our sins of exhibiting doubts about your ability to change every heart to do the right thing. Forgive us and grant us faith to trust that your will is going to be done by all. Arise oh Lord and let all your enemies be scattered. Let all secrets of the enemy and their plans against President Obama's administration be exposed in the name of Jesus. Grant President Obama the grace, fortitude and wisdom to respond to every false accusation, every detraction from his calling and every attack on him and the American people. Lord, I pray that President Obama's mind will be stayed on you, that he may experience perfect peace as promised in your word. Grant him the desires of his heart in accordance to your perfect will for him and for this nations. Let the plans of those motivated by the spirit of evil be frustrated in the name of Jesus. I also pray Lord that you will change our hearts that we may support that which is noble and right, that which is kind and gracious, that which glorifies your name in our every day lives and as we serve others in the positions we currently occupy. Underguard President Obama with your strength and power and give him wisdom to rule in righteousness and the fear of your holy name.
