Dear Lord,
I thank you this morning for your goodness, your mercy and you gift of life. I thank you that you hold our lives in the palm of your hand. This morning I pray that your love, mercy and showers of blessing will be the portion of President Obama. I pray that your will be done in his life. Encourage him and guard him with your love and power, that he may experience your blessing and your peace. I pray Lord that under his watch, this nation will begin to seek your face and obey your commands like never before. For your word in Deuteronomy 15:5-6 says that if we fully obey you and follow your commands, you promise to bless us and and make this nation a lender and not a borrower. A ruler of many nations and shall be ruled by none. Lord cause your power to decend and increase righteousness that this nation may be exalted. Allow the righteous to contribute through your direction into policies enacted in this country that your will may be done. Lift up the righteous to be exalted in this nation and be instrumental in the policies enacted during the term of President Obama. Lord, continue to cause President Obama to excel in his leadership as he seeks your face daily for guidance. Holy spirit, envelope him and guide his mind, his thought process and his intellect that all his does may be according to the will of God and to bring glory and honor to your name. Frustrate every plan of the enemy concerning President Obama and protect him from those who seek to harm him, his family, his leadership or this nation. Bring him into favor with all that work for him and with him and frustrate the plans fo those who are motivated by hate and evil to oppose him. Cause all the proposals You impart by on President Obama be favored and give him supernatural breakthroughs over every obstacles erected by his enemies. Expose the plans of the enemy over this nation and its leadership so that believers can be wise in their intercession and that we all may continue to pray in according to Your perfect will for this nation and for the President Obama. Put to flight every spirit of fear, anxiety and discouragement and grant him the Spirit of Power, Love and a Sound Mind.
