Father God,
thank you this morning for a new day that gives us an opportunity to live according to your will for us. I lift up President Obama this morning before your throne of grace. Lord your word in Ps 75:6-7 says "For promotion cometh neither from the east or the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up the other. Lord you placed President Obama at the head of this country as the Commander in Chief of the US. Lord touch his heart that he may hearken unto your commandments to observe and do them. Paralyze and nullify the plans of every strongman and agent of shame, backwardness, hatred and discord targeting the president and this nation. Break and cancel every curse or evil words spoken against this administration and this country. Holy spirit counter and frustrate every evil device and plan targeting the president, his administration, and his cabinet. Lord fortify President Obama with your power and give him confronting authority to achieve effortless results in congress and around the world where there is US presence. Give President Obama divine direction that will propel this nation to greatness through him. Lord, give President Obama an excellent spirit in leadership, authority, and discernment of what is good and right for this nation. Grant him success in those plans that line up with your perfect will for this nation.
