Prayer for President Obama_March18_2010

Father God,
thank you for the gift of life and for this day.  May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins.  Lord I repent on my own behalf and on the behalf of this nation, The United States of America. For Lord we have sinned in word, in thought, in what we have done, and in what we have failed to do.  Forgive us our sins Lord and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Forgive the sins of all the elected leaders in office right now, wash them with the blood of Jesus, and renew a right spirit of righteousness and service.  I lift up President Obama this morning before your throne of grace. I pray Lord that you will  bless him indeed.  Bless his coming in and his going out.  Bless the work of his hands.  Grant him wisdom, knowledge, understanding and innovative ideas.  Surround him with like minded people whose deepest desire is to serve you in the area of leadership and governance.  I join my prayers with those of saints who are responding to your call to pray for our leaders.  Grant President Obama good health.  Grant him favor with his peers, his government, and his cabinet.  Fill President Obama with all the fullness of your name.  Render every divination and enchantment of hell against him impotent. May the devine cover of glory God be upon him.  Revoke every satanic decree issued against him in the Name of Jesus.  Finger of God unseat every evil throne installed against his life.  Scatter very agent of disorder against his life.  Release him from every curse spoken against him.  Uproot every tree of disorder planted against President Obama and his cabinet.  Grant him extraordinary wisdom, knowledge and understanding to lead this nation in righteousness.  Command every demonic loss to cease, remove every demonic obstacle and mountain standing in the way of the work you have ordained for him to fulfill in the Name of Jesus.  Father God, give him the peace that surpasses human understanding as your Spirit guides his decisions.
In Jesus' Mighty Name I have prayed to you Lord, Amen.
