Prayer for President Obama, June 17, 2010

Dear Lord God,
thank you for this new day. Thank you for the gift of life and for a beautiful new summer day. This morning, I lift up President Obama before Your throne of grace. Father, give him rest from all his enemies, those who ridicule and belittle him, those who seek to discredit him in the Name of Jesus. Lord provide him with the knowledge, wisdom and understanding he needs to navigate today's challenges and activities. Lord give him winning strategies in the Mighty Name of Jesus.  Lord cause his enemies who gather against him to be scattered in the Name of Jesus. May dissent and disagreement be their portion in the name of Jesus. Lord you are the Lord of President Obama's life, Father cause him to experience Your presence, Your love, and Your mercy.  Lord grant him favor with man and with angels.  May all those who seek to destroy his natural, professional and spiritual life be defeated and confounded in Jesus' Name.  Cause him to rise a head taller than his peers.  Bless his coming in and his going out. Bless the work of his hands.  Grant him men and women after Your own heart to help him run this office.  May those who wish him to fail witness his unprecedented success in the name of Jesus. Lord, quicken the drilling process in the gulf and provide a good way to counter this environmental disaster.  Lord, protect the President from every negative rumors and negative advertising in the name of Jesus. May those who are laughing at him now begin to laugh with him in the name of Jesus.  May every negative publicity be turned to a positive one in Jesus' name.  Lord we plead for a breakthrough in the gulf in the name of Jesus.

Lord, grant the President success in today's endeavors and in all decisions he must make in Jesus' name. Give him supernatural wisdom, supernatural abilities, and supernatural insight as well as supernatural strategies to approach every problem, obstacle and issue in the name of Jesus. Lord, let him experience your love.  Let him experience your favor, and let him receive the anointing to excel in leadership.  In Jesus' Name I pray, AMEN!
