Dear Lord God,
You are good and you are worthy to receive honor and power and glory. You are the beginning and the end. There is none beside you. You created the universe for Your pleasure. Lord we are Your creation, open our eyes and our ears that we may see and perceive hear and understand the great love you have for us.
Lord this morning in obedience to Your word that calls us to intercede for our leaders, I pray that You will bless President Obama. I plead the blood of Jesus over his life, the lives of his family members and the members of his cabinet in the Name of Jesus. Lord cause him to excel even in his leadership. Lord open the heavens over him and cause him to prosper. May he be a head taller than his peers. May he be the head and not the tail. May he be on top always and not on the bottom. Father, grant him wisdom beyond his years. Overturn every plan of the enemy concerning him. Turn every curse into a blessing. Turn every negative word seeking to discredit him to his credit. Cause every person turned against him by negative propaganda and satanic manipulations to begin to support him in Jesus Name.
Lord give him wisdom in his response to the situation in the Middle East and North Africa. Father, may he be a source of leadership and new direction for these nations. Lord cause him to ascend even on wings of the eagle. For you raised him up for such a time as this. Lord, strengthen his arms and his feet even as he tackles daily the challenges of leading this great nation. Lord, may Your favor continually be upon him. May he experience Your peace and Your comfort. May Your Holy Spirit empower him to stand on Your principles and upon Your word. For Your word says he has triumphed over his enemies because of the victory You have wrought on his behalf. Father, show Yourself strong on his behalf, in the Name of Jesus.
My Lord and my God, grant President Obama the spirit of the head and not the tail, Let Your favor and the favor of man encompass President Obama throughout this year. Lord disgrace all those circulating the name of President Obama for evil in the Name of Jesus. Grant president Obama supernatural favor, abilities wisdom and divine strategies for his leadership in the Name of Jesus. Lord, guide his footsteps and cause him to excel where many have failed in the Name of Jesus. Cover him under the shadow of Your wing this day. Now and forever more.
Lord I cover this prayer in the Blood of Jesus, and present it before Your throne of Grace.
