Prayer for President Obama, August 18, 2010

Our Lord and Our God,
Blessed be Your Name this morning.  May Your Kingdom come, may Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins. As we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is Thy Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever AMEN!

Lord in the Name of Jesus, I raise up President Obama before Your throne of Grace this morning. Lord be with him.  Cover him in the Blood of Jesus.  Cause him to stand in the fear of Your Holy Name.  Bless the work of his hands.  Bless his coming in and his going out.  Grant him divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding.  Give him the right words to speak Lord, that none may use the words of his mouth to attack him.  Lord, cause him to be the head and not the tail, to be on top and not the bottom.  Lord, may Your Holy Spirit be his guide and his defender.  I pray that he will yield himself to you as an instrument of honor to Your  Holy Name.

Lord paralyze every satanic force that has been released against him in Jesus' Name.  Frustrate every plan and effort of the enemy targeting his life or policies.  Let all satanic parasites in his life die in the Name of Jesus.  Lord confound the ideas and knowledge of all those who seek to harm the president in the media, in ideas, in policies in the Name of Jesus.  Expose every lie of his enemies in the Name of Jesus.  Paralyze the work of every evil king installed against president Obama in the Name of Jesus.  Every stronghold of political harassment and discrediting mechanism used by the enemy fail and be dashed to pieces in the Name of Jesus.  Every gathering that is gathered against the president, be frustrated and be fruitless in Jesus' Name.  May all who gather to distort and destroy his message of love and hope, his policies, and his commitment to the nation suffer irreparable loss in the Name of Jesus.  I bind and render harmless every power of the enemy that is being used to frustrate the effort towards policies that are supposed to help this country in the Name of Jesus.  Lord let there be unrest and strife in every camp of the enemy that is gathered against the president and his cabinet in the Name of Jesus. Lord, manifest Yourself in the life of President Obama. Confound every enemy of his progress in the Name of Jesus.  Let every spirit working against answers to his prayers be bound and rendered useless for eternity in the Name of Jesus. Let every satanic assignment against his life be disgraces and brought to shame in Jesus Name.  Lord transport him from the minimum to the maximum.  Prepare a table for him in the presence of his enemies.  Fill his cup to overflowing.  May Your goodness and mercy and loving kindness follow him all the days of his life, and may he dwell in the house of the Lord, for ever and ever, AMEN!

Lord I lift up Israel before You.  I pray for their protection and a covering by the blood of Jesus.  Lord protect those in the military that are stationed in the middle East. Lord fight every battle that the enemy has brought to their camp in the Name of Jesus.  Lord, grant them divine strategies, knowledge and wisdom to frustrate every effort of their enemies in the Name of Jesus.

Lord, I speak life and productivity in the economy in the Name of Jesus.  Lord confound the predictions of those who speak doom and economic downturn in the Name of Jesus.  Let every innovative idea and every plan that will jumpstart the economy begin to work in the Name of Jesus.  Lord, even as you confounded the predictions of those who spoke against the plugging of the oil well in the gulf, Lord confound the predictions of those who are prophesying doom to the economy.

Lord, I repent of every sin that every believer has committed through words, thoughts, actions of lack of actions.  Lord, forgive us and heal this land, that it may bear fruit and lift the lives of many who live in destitution.

Thank You Lord for this day.  May Your Name be Glorified, In Jesus' Name I pray. AMEN!
