Dear Lord,
We thank you for the President of the United States of America, President Obama. We realize that he is feable as any other man and that he needs your strength, your power and your protection. Protect him from every evil plan of the enemy and his agents. Give him wisdom this day to go execute every decision with wisdom and supernatural abilities. Grant him favor with man and angels. Release your devine favor over him, his family, his cabinet, and all those in authority over this nation. Let your will be done in his life and Lord we pray that your holy spirit will open his spiritual eyes that he may discern the will of God for this nation. Lord bless him this day with favor, unspeakable joy, and outstanding success in every decision he is going to make today. Father God, frustrate every power assigned to distract him from his calling and from pushing forward the policies that you have ordained for this nation. Renew a steadfast spirit within him that he may stay the course until he fulfills your will today. Father uphold him with your right hand of righteousness even as you grant him unspeakable joy in the midst of every battle you have ordained for him to fight in service to this nation.

Prayer for President Obama_Feb25_2010
Father God, in the name of Jesus. I pray for president Obama this morning that you will protect him from every attack of the enemy, grant him wisdom to deal with every bill, challenge, obstacle that may come his way. Give him eloquence and the grace to articulate the needs and do that which is right for the residents of the United States. Father, you appointed him to serve this country as the president. Grant him favor with the congress (House and Senate), the people of the United States, and the rest of the world. I pray that your will be done in his life, in this country and even through out the world. Let every attack against him be frustrated and every arrow fired against him, his family, this nation, and the people of this nation backfire in Jesus' name. Grant him your holy spirit that he may operate in power, love, and a sound mind as he leads this nation to greater heights. Continue to turn the economy of this country around and accelerate production and growth of job opportunities. I break every curse spoken over the economy and declare 2010 the year of most miraculous economic growth. Lord Jesus, confound the voice of the naysayers and show yourself strong in this nation. Establish your will in the land. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Father God,
Thank you for a new day. I lift up the President Obama in your might hands this morning. I pray that you will give him wisdom, courage and ability beyond his years. Grant him the wisdom of Solomon, David, Daniel, Mosses as he moves ahead with the plans concerning this nations viability, economy, security, future and health. Holy spirit fill him with wisdom to articulate your plan for this nation in every sphere of influence, that your name may be glorified. I also pray for wisdom for all members of congress involved in the design of the healthcare that all will do what is right by this nation. I pray for grace, favor, mercy and protection over president Obama, his family, his cabinet members, and all those you have appointed in positions of leadership. Grant then widsom and clarity of mind, honesty and integrity in every decision they make this day.

Prayers for President Obama

This morning, I commit President Obama into your mighty hands. I pray that you will protect him from the attacks of the enemy and his agents. Cover him in the blood of Jesus and hide him under the shadow of your wings. I pray that you will give him wisdom, knowledge and understanding above his peers to make the right decisions and pursue the right policies for this nation. Strengthen his arms and his feet that he may stand strong and fight without fear for justice and opportunities for all who have been sidelined and forgotten by the rich and powerful of this nation. Give him the gift of discernment that he may deal wisely with all. Direct his footsteps this day that in all that he must accomplish today, Your will will be done. Grant him favor with all and encourage him even as he seeks to do that which is right for this nation.

When you need a miracle
There are times when a miracle is the only thing that will get you out of a situation. I have experienced several "I need a miracle" moments. When this moments come upon me, my only hope is prayer and a prayer for a miracle. I learned about prayer as a young girl by watching my grandmother pray.
I was raised by my grandmother and as a young girl watched her pray for our family, for her friends, and for those who sought her out to pray for them. In the morning when my grandmother woke up, the first thing she did was to offer a prayer of thanksgiving that God had allowed us to see yet another day. She would then commit the day to the Lord before beginning her intercession for every need that had been brought to her attention. Before every meal, my grandmother offered a prayer of thanks. At the end of the day, she led us through our bedtime prayers. I saw my grandmother pray for women who had been married for several years and had not been blessed with children, and within a few months these women conceived and bore their children. She prayed for people who were having problems finding jobs, those who were sick, and many more others.
